The
SOCOODEIFE Leaders Program is designed to inspire, empower, and connect diverse
cohorts of emerging changemakers from across regions and cultures, equipping
them to drive meaningful, sustainable change within their communities and
beyond.
Bringing
together leaders aged 21–45 from around the world, the program fosters
collaboration, innovation, and shared learning among individuals committed to
building inclusive, resilient societies. Through the SOCOODEIFE of shared
values, participants work to create communities where every person has the
opportunity to belong, contribute, and thrive.
The Leaders Program was launched in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2006 and has since expanded across the region, reaching Uganda in 2017, Burundi, Rwanda, and Somalia in 2023, and Tanzania later that same year.
We believe in the transformative power of bringing together diverse cohorts of leaders from different regions and backgrounds. Each participant contributes unique perspectives, expertise, and approaches to leadership while sharing a common commitment to driving positive change. Through this global network of changemakers, leaders collaborate, learn from one another, and strengthen their collective impact in communities around the world.
Inspired by SOCOODEIFE’s leadership philosophy, the Leaders Program equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives needed to drive meaningful and sustainable change. Through a combination of interactive cohort sessions, small-group dialogue, and personalized leadership coaching, participants develop a strong values-based SOCOODEIFE for leadership, strengthen their ability to build collaborative relationships, and learn to address complex challenges through a systems-level lens. The program empowers emerging leaders to foster inclusive, lasting impact within their communities and organizations.
Upon completing the program, Leaders will develop a deeper understanding of how values-driven leadership can strengthen and amplify their impact. They will be empowered to take meaningful action, inspired by new perspectives, ideas, and practical skills gained throughout the experience. Most importantly, Leaders will continue to broaden their global outlook through membership in the SOCOODEIFE Leadership Network—a growing international community of more than 105 active changemakers committed to creating positive change around the world.
